BLACK BEAN WILD TURKEY PITAS

Ingredients: 

Black Bean Wild Turkey Pitas:

  •  1 Pound wild turkey ground, or any game meat

  • 1 Can black beans

  • 1 cup fresh grilled corn

  • 1 cup fresh tomatoes, clopped

  • 2 avocados, cubed

  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

  • ¼ cup cilantro, minced

  • ½ teaspoon chili powder

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire

  • ¼ teaspoon cracked pepper

  • 4 whole wheat pitas

  • 1/3 cup skim mozzarella cheese

     

    Directions:

    1. In large skillet brown the turkey with garlic, chili powder, pepper & paprika. Cook until turkey is fully cooked about 7 minutes.

    2. Mix in corn, cilantro & black beans and cook additional 2-4 minutes, remove from heat and stir in cheese, avocado and tomatoes.

    3. Stuff each pita and enjoy.
